On a recommendation from the front desk at the hotel, we headed to the North end of town to another cathedral for a good view of the city. The cathedral was closed, but the walk up the hill was worth it. We were greeted with a breathtaking view and a sunset with the Eiffel tower in view.

For the last stop, we headed for the Arc de Triomphe, which was built to commemorate those who fought in the Napoleonic wars. It was a cool sight during the night, the trees were lit up all along the main road and a roundabout circled the Arc. By this time, the cold was brutal and we decided to head for a warmer place.
Tim and I had come across a restaurant on an earlier night that we thought was worth revisiting. We arrived and had our last meal in Paris. We were ready to head for warmer weather in Italy.
Tim and I agreed that the Louvre museum was one of the highlights in Paris, something both of us would never forget.

You missed out on some "biting cold" here as well. What is with the side shots near the Mona Lisa?
